A few weeks ago, I attended the Water Lantern Festival at the Empire State Plaza in Albany, NY, and captured this photo just as the sun dipped below the horizon. The reflecting pool mirrored the soft glow of hundreds of lanterns, each one lovingly decorated with words of hope, healing, or remembrance.

It was quiet. Peaceful. Profound.

And in that moment, I was reminded of something simple but powerful: every one of us is carrying a story. Some joyful, some heavy—but all real.

Just like those lanterns, each person I meet in my work as a real estate agent in Albany and the Capital Region is moving through something meaningful. A new chapter. A big decision. A fresh start.

Sometimes it's a first-time homebuyer excited (and a little nervous).
Sometimes it's someone saying goodbye to a home filled with decades of memories.
Sometimes it's someone ready to invest in their future.

Whatever the story, my role isn't just about contracts and closing dates. It's about listening. Supporting. Helping people move forward with clarity, confidence, and compassion.

That's why I love this business.

I don't just help people buy and sell homes—I help them navigate life transitions with purpose.

Because real estate should be personal. It should reflect your values, your goals, and what feels like "home" to you.

Thinking About Your Next Move?

If you're planning to buy or sell in Albany, East Greenbush, Troy, Rensselaer, or anywhere in the Capital Region, I'd be honored to help you float your next chapter forward—just like those lanterns.
